Summer Glau has been a famous American actress for a number of seasons. Her most notable role is River Tam, in Firefly (one of the best-reviewed TV programs) and Cameron of Terminator. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla as well as Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena was eight she began an active career with a group created by her dad. Selena joined with her siblings Abraham Junior, who was playing the bass guitar, and Sister Suzette was playing the drums. Selena performed as the leader of the band. Selena Y Los Dino band performed at many bars, wedding fairs, dining establishments with her elder brothers and sisters. Selena did not have much growing up as the group required lots of time. But their father Abraham wanted to motivate his children and make them dedicated musicians. Abraham senior also played with the Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos were official founded in the year 1981. The band was the company of the family and was the primary source of income from the Quintanilla family. While there were difficult times starting out with very little cash, the Quintanilla family persevered and remained focused in their endeavors to be an extremely successful group. Selena Y Los Dinos would become popular throughout the west states during the 80s. Selena's first success came in 1986 when she won awards as Female Vocalist of The Year and Performer Of the Year at Tejano music Awards. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to be among the winners of Tejano music awards, as well as gaining fame and respect. They have appeared in many Spanish TV shows, including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo as well as Sabado Gigante.
