Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from an ethnically diverse background. Jacqueline Fernandez's mom Kim and father Elroy were both born in Malaysia. She has two elder brothers as well as two younger brothers. In the wake of turmoil in Lanka, her parents moved to Bahrain in the late 1980s. In Australia she was enrolled in Media and Communications at University of Sydney following her graduation from Bahrain. To enhance her interest in different cultures, languages and languages, she joined the Berlitz school of languages, where she was able to master Spanish in addition to improving French as well as Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 won Miss Universe 2006 competition in March of 2006, and later participated as Miss Universe 2006 also. Padukone (the daughter of the badminton player Prakash Padukone) was born and raised in Bangalore. When she was a teen, Padukone competed in a variety of National badminton competitions. However, she resigned from the sport when she decided to be a professional fashion model. Padukone's mother tongue is Konkani. She is Mangalorean by origin. Padukone Village is located inside Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi Distric of Karnataka in India. His father, Prakash Padukone, is a retired badminton player of world-class fame, while her mother works as a travel agent.
